Draft, pending counsel review. Not in force. What this means

We store what the Service needs to work. Analytics cookies are set only if you agree in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking.

1. What this notice covers

This notice explains how [Aligner, Inc.] (Aligner) uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies (together, storage) on aligner.network. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

2. What we use

Strictly necessary storage keeps you signed in, remembers your settings and protects the Service. Under the ePrivacy rules and comparable laws, it does not require consent.

Item names and durations are placeholders until production is configured.

3. Analytics, only with your consent

If you choose Allow analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and the product steps people complete, such as creating a request or approving work. Until you agree, no Google script loads and no analytics cookie is set.

ItemTypePurposeDuration
_gaCookie, first partyTells one visitor's visits apart, without identifying them[Up to 2 years]
_ga_[ID]Cookie, first partyKeeps the state of a visit[Up to 2 years]

Events carry ids, kinds and amounts only: never your name, email or anything you typed. Advertising features, ad storage and ad personalization are off. Google is listed on Sub-processors.

4. What we do not use

  • Advertising cookies or pixels, or Google's advertising features.
  • Cross-site or third-party tracking.
  • Selling or sharing data for targeted advertising.

If we add other storage that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.

5. Your choices

Change your analytics choice at any time under Cookie settings in the site footer. Withdrawing stops analytics at once and deletes its cookies.

You can clear or block storage in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary storage, signing in and other core features will not work.

A Global Privacy Control signal counts as declining analytics; the banner won't ask, though you can still opt in under Cookie settings.

6. Changes and contact

We will post material changes here at least 15 days before they take effect. Questions go to [privacy@aligner.network].
